Privacy Policy for Trelv

This Privacy Policy explains how Trelv handles information when you use the Trelv mobile application, a virtual pressed flower composition studio for arranging botanicals, paper backdrops, ribbons, stamps, imported images, and decorative elements into saved digital artworks.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Trelv," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the operator of the Trelv application. "You" and "your" refer to the person using the app. This Policy applies to the app, the local gallery, imported materials, optional in-app purchases, support communications, and any related features that link to or display this Policy.

Important summary: Trelv does not require an account to use the app. We do not ask you to create a username, password, or public profile. Your artwork is designed to be stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it, share it, save it to your photo library, restore purchases, contact support, or use platform services that process information independently.

1. The Frame

Scope and Role of Platform Providers

Trelv runs on devices and platforms that may independently collect or process information, including Apple, app marketplaces, payment processors, operating-system services, analytics or crash systems if enabled, device backup services, and email providers. Those third parties are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. This Policy describes Trelv's practices and does not replace third-party policies.

If you buy PetalPoints, restore purchases, download updates, use cloud backup, share files, send email, or interact with app-store features, your platform provider may process information such as transaction identifiers, device data, account identifiers, region, tax information, purchase history, or diagnostics. We do not control all of that processing.

2. What May Be Collected

Information We Handle

Because Trelv is a no-account creative app, the categories of information we handle are limited and generally tied to features you choose to use. Depending on your device, settings, app release, permissions, and feature use, Trelv may handle the following categories:

Category Examples Primary Purpose
Local creative data Artwork titles, canvas layouts, layer positions, rotations, scale values, backdrop choices, thumbnails, exported artwork files, gallery records, favorite status, and timestamps. Create, edit, save, display, export, and manage your pressed-flower compositions.
Imported materials Images you select from your device photo library or files copied into Trelv as reusable materials. Let you build compositions using your own botanical photos, textures, or decorative references.
App configuration First-launch status, privacy acceptance status, user agreement acceptance status, tracking authorization prompt status, local settings, and feature flags. Remember app state, preferences, onboarding choices, and compliance prompts.
Purchase and entitlement data PetalPoints balance, premium unlock records, product identifiers, purchase restoration status, and platform purchase result information. Provide in-app purchases, unlock premium materials, restore eligible purchases, and prevent duplicate entitlement loss.
Device permissions and technical signals Photo-library permission status, tracking authorization status where applicable, device operating system behavior, and local storage availability. Enable requested features, respect your permission choices, and keep the app working.
Support communications Your email address, message content, screenshots you choose to send, purchase details you provide, and troubleshooting context. Respond to requests, investigate bugs, handle purchase questions, and improve support quality.
Diagnostics, analytics, or crash data if enabled Crash logs, performance reports, app release details, device model, operating system details, and error events. Find and fix technical issues, improve reliability, and understand aggregate app performance.

Trelv does not require your name, mailing address, phone number, account password, profile photo, social graph, precise location, or contacts in order to use the core creative studio. If future features request additional information, we will update this Policy or provide a feature-specific notice where appropriate.

3. Local Storage

Artwork Stored on Your Device

Trelv is designed around local creation. The app may store your artworks, layer data, thumbnails, exported images, imported material copies, premium unlock state, and app settings in local app storage on your device. Local storage allows Trelv to work without requiring an account or remote profile.

Local data may be deleted if you uninstall the app, clear app data, reset your device, change devices, disable or lose backups, or use system tools that remove app files. Trelv may not be able to recover local artworks or imported materials after they are deleted from your device. We recommend exporting or backing up important artwork using tools you trust.

If your device backup service includes Trelv data, that backup may be handled by your platform provider under its own privacy policy. We do not control how device backups are configured, encrypted, retained, restored, or shared by your platform provider.

4. Permission Petals

Device Permissions

Trelv may ask for device permissions only when they are relevant to a feature you choose. You can usually allow, deny, or later change permissions through your device settings. Denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but it should not prevent all basic app use.

Photo Library Access

Trelv may request access to your photo library when you import an image as a material, save an exported artwork to your album, or perform another photo-related action. Depending on your device settings, you may grant full access, limited access, or no access. Trelv uses photo access to complete the action you request. We do not need access to your entire photo library for unrelated purposes.

Sharing

When you use the system share sheet, your artwork file may be sent to the app, service, or contact you select. Trelv does not control what the receiving service does with the file after you share it. Review the destination carefully before sharing personal or sensitive content.

App Tracking Transparency

On iOS, Trelv may display an App Tracking Transparency prompt if required for tracking-related activities under Apple's framework. You can allow or deny tracking through the system prompt and later change your choice in device settings where available. If tracking is denied, Trelv should respect that platform-level choice.

Notifications, Camera, Location, and Contacts

Trelv's core pressed-flower composition experience does not require account login, precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera access. If a future release adds a feature that requests a new permission, the permission prompt or related notice should explain why the feature needs it.

5. Why We Use Information

Purposes of Processing

We may use information described in this Policy for the following purposes:

  • to provide the creative studio, including canvas editing, layering, rotation, scaling, paper backdrops, decorative elements, and saved gallery views;
  • to store and display your local artworks, thumbnails, imported materials, and exported files;
  • to process requested imports, exports, saves to album, and shares;
  • to provide optional in-app purchases, PetalPoints, premium unlocks, and purchase restoration through platform services;
  • to remember onboarding choices, privacy-policy acknowledgement, user-agreement acknowledgement, settings, permissions, and local app configuration;
  • to respond to support emails and troubleshoot issues you report;
  • to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, entitlement bypass, security issues, or technical failures;
  • to comply with legal obligations, platform rules, tax requirements, consumer protection rules, law-enforcement requests, and enforceable legal process;
  • to improve app reliability, design, performance, and user experience using aggregate or diagnostic information where available and permitted.
6. Where Data May Travel

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal artwork. We may disclose or make information available in the following limited circumstances:

  • At your direction: when you export, save to album, share, email, or otherwise choose to send artwork or information to another destination.
  • Platform providers: when app-store services, operating-system features, payment systems, purchase restoration, backups, diagnostics, or permission frameworks are used.
  • Service providers: if we use vendors to provide support, diagnostics, email, hosting for legal pages, analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention, or similar operational services.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when we believe disclosure is required or appropriate to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights, investigate fraud, respond to legal process, or protect users and the public.
  • Business transfers: if Trelv is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate protections.

We do not knowingly disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that are not reasonably necessary to provide requested features or comply with law. We also do not intentionally use your imported images or private artworks for advertising without your separate consent.

7. Sale and Sharing Notice

Advertising, Sale, and Sharing

Some U.S. state privacy laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly. Trelv is designed as a no-account creative app, and we do not sell your personal artwork, imported images, or local gallery contents for money. We also do not create a public advertising profile from your artwork inside Trelv.

If a future release uses advertising, cross-app tracking, targeted advertising, or third-party analytics in a way that qualifies as a sale or sharing under applicable law, we will update this Policy and provide any required opt-out method. Where Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework applies, your system-level tracking choice will be respected as required by platform rules.

You may contact us to request information about whether your personal information has been sold or shared, and to opt out where applicable. Because Trelv does not require accounts, we may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant record, such as the support email you used to contact us or platform transaction details for purchase-related requests.

8. Pressing Time

Retention

Local creative data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear app data, reset the device, or use operating-system tools that remove it. Exported files saved to your photo library or shared to third-party services remain wherever you saved or shared them, subject to those services' rules.

Support emails may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain records, prevent abuse, handle legal obligations, or improve support. Purchase-related records may be retained as required by app-store platforms, tax rules, accounting obligations, anti-fraud needs, or consumer protection requirements. Diagnostic or aggregate data may be retained for a reasonable period to improve app reliability.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete, de-identify, aggregate, or otherwise process it according to applicable law and operational needs.

9. The Glass Case

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Trelv. The app's local-first design reduces the need to transmit your creative projects to us. However, no method of storage, device security, network transmission, payment processing, or electronic communication is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your device, passcode, platform account, backups, exported files, and shared destinations. If you believe your support communication or purchase information has been compromised, contact us and your platform provider as appropriate.

10. Your Rights

U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including if you are a California resident, you may have rights under U.S. state privacy laws such as the right to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information. These rights may be subject to exceptions, identity verification, technical feasibility, and legal limitations.

Because Trelv does not require accounts and stores most creative data locally, we may not have remote access to many categories of app data. For local artworks, imported materials, and saved files, the most direct way to access, correct, or delete the data may be through the app, your device storage controls, or deleting the app. For support emails or purchase-related requests that we can reasonably locate, you may contact us.

California Notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to our handling of your personal information, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion, request correction, request portability, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics where prohibited by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising lawful privacy rights, though some features may not work if information necessary to provide them is deleted or unavailable.

How to Make a Request

To submit a privacy request, contact us at trelvk7m4q@outlook.com. Please describe your request clearly. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate relevant records. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof of authorization as permitted by law.

11. Young Gardeners

Children's Privacy

Trelv is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not provide personal information to us. If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete the information where required by law.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of device photo libraries, sharing features, purchases, and imported images. Device-level parental controls, purchase restrictions, screen-time tools, and app-store family settings may help manage use.

12. Cross-Border Notes

Users Outside the United States

This Privacy Policy is written with U.S. law in mind. If you use Trelv from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required by applicable law, we will rely on appropriate legal bases and safeguards for cross-border processing. If local law gives you additional privacy rights, you may contact us to exercise them, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

13. Your Controls

Choices and Controls

  • Photo access: manage access through device settings. You may be able to grant limited library access on supported platforms.
  • Tracking choices: manage App Tracking Transparency choices in iOS settings where available.
  • Local artwork: delete individual artworks in the app where supported, delete imported materials where supported, or remove the app to delete local app data subject to device behavior and backups.
  • Exports: delete exported images from your photo library or destinations where you saved or shared them.
  • Purchases: manage purchases, refunds, family sharing, and purchase history through your app marketplace account.
  • Support emails: contact us to request deletion of support communications where legally and operationally possible.
14. Policy Changes

Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Trelv, law, technology, platform requirements, permissions, purchases, data practices, or business operations. The updated document will show a new effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app or by another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Trelv after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy means the updated Policy applies to your use from that date forward. If you do not agree with the updated Policy, you may stop using Trelv and delete the app from your device.
